STIMMING! – When More Is Not Enough is a personal creative film exploring stimming, sensory regulation and the ways autistic children communicate comfort, overwhelm and joy.
Inspired by my family’s experience and dedicated to my wife and son, the piece uses music, rhythm and child-centred storytelling to present stimming as something to understand rather than fear or stop.
The film aims to encourage greater empathy for autistic children and the families supporting them.
