Shopo-Phobia is a university campaign concept created for eBay Live, exploring the fear of buying products online that look different from their photos.
Using humour and exaggerated visual storytelling, the campaign follows shoppers dealing with misleading images, disappointing deliveries and frustrating automated returns. eBay Live is presented as a more human way to shop, allowing buyers to see products clearly and ask sellers questions in real time.
The project includes two campaign videos developed around the idea that the future of online shopping should not only be faster, but more human.
